Global Warming last show – Best of 2009!

The last Global Warming radio show was aired 27.12.09. It’s a special 2-hour show with what I felt was the best music of 2009 in the Nu-World area. The show goes from the Balkans to Latin, Tropical and eventually House. Hope you like it, feel free to comment!

Free balkan music from Guca festival

Every summer hundreds of thousands of people flock to the small town of Guca, Serbia, to take part of one of the Balkans’ biggest folk music festival. The festival is a competition between the different orkestars, mainly brass fanfares, which culminates in three days of partying.

This year the festival is held on the weekend of the 5-7 of August. From a quick visit to the festival’s website I discovered a stockpile of free mp3 downloads including tracks from one of the Balkans’ greatest trumpeter Boban Markovich. Get it all here.

Nu-Cumbia from here to manana

God damn. Villa Diamante, a big Argentinian nu-cumbia producer, released tons of tracks for free download, many of them mash-ups taken to the cumbia level and a whole album dedicated to hybrid dubstep sound. Oh, it’s all free, of course. Click here for the download page.
